the MAGIC NUMBER
the MAGIC NUMBER
We believe in bt05 metas that nowadays, there is a magic number in game.
wait WHAT? dafuq i just read?
what is magic number?
basically, it is a 'phrase' made by vangods in which your rearguard, will make your opponent guard 10k whenever you attack (rearguard).
so what is the number?
it is 18K.
why? nowadays meta, it is an all 13k vg decks, so to make ur opp guard 10k, ur rearguard must have AT LEAST 18k attacks or above.
Important meh?
Answer = when you hit the magic number, opponent will either no guard, or use a 10k shield to guard, or even better, guard using 2 x 5k, and it wastes 2 handsize of your opponent. if your attack is below 18k, opponent can just intercept, or maybe, after your vanguard attack and your opponent check damage, it has trigger on it, your opponent will put it in the vanguard and their vanguard becomes 18k. in which your rearguard with atk below 18k cant attack your opponent's vanguard.
Isn't easy to make everything 18k with all those baromedes, or death metal droid, or others isn't it?
Answer = of course.
THE MAIN TOPIC HERE IS, HOW ABOUT FOR THOSE GUYS WHO CAN'T AFFORD SSD, BAROMEDES?
THIS IS THE SOLUTION.
I made a deck based on Magic numbers, and it works pretty well. THE GOOD THING ABOUT THIS DECK IS, there is NO FOIL AT ALL INSIDE IT. EVERYTHING ARE either rare or common. So this deck is just reallly really really really cheap. with just 15 dollars, you can make your deck a magic number deck, WITH great stability on it.
P.S = not easy to make a 18k decks without being able to use any foils.
DECK NAME = sweet18
decklist :
g0
1 Durangal
16 triggers (6-6-4 based, crit draw heal)
g1
4 galahad g1
4 marron
3 lien
3 toypoogal
g2
4 randolf
4 gallatin
3 akane
g3
4 butterfly man
4 borz
the only card that cant make you hit the magic number is akane. and it is only to call toypoogal, and you will intercept it.
This deck needs quite some strategy, not just anyhow put booster and attack, you must know whether that g2 infront of the g1, will be used to intercept, and then suddenly u call a gallatin with 7k booster which doesnt hit the magic number. its quite tricky, but if you are already familiar with fast game play, i assume you already know how to count everything about 11k, 12k,13k walls and their 16k,17k,18k,21k,22k,23k barriers.
AGAIN, I DONT WANT ANYBODY TO SUGGEST ANY CARDS LIKE BAROMEDES G3, BECAUSE IT IS A FREAKING FOIL thx.

BT01 discussion (part II)
KAGEROU (かげろう)
Short introduction = Also one of the four main clan, used by Kai Toshiki in the Anime. Strong deck with special ability to destroy your opponent rearguards and high-powered attack.
2 style to play Kagerou --> Destroyer style(Blazing Flare or Goku, need at least BT02 cards) and High Attack Power style (need cards from PR01 and also Dragonic Waterfowl)
Important cards
Boss monsters (BT01)
-Dragonic Overlord
-Embodiment of Victory Aleph
-Vortex Dragon
-Goku
Support monsters for easy access
-Conroe --> any g1 or g0 for superior ride
-Dragon Knight Aleph --> superior ride for Aleph g3
Must have in decks
-Bahr
-Barri
-Nehalem
Decklist
g0
2x Conroe
4x Ganlu (Stand)
4x Monica (Draw)
4x Thar (Critical)
4x Genjo (Heal)
g1
4x Bahr
3x Barri
3x Gyojo
3x Aermo or whatsoever (TD ex)
g2
4x Dragon Knight Aleph
3x Nehalem
2x Berserk Dragon
2x Tejas
g3
4x Dragonic Overlord
2x Embodiment of Victory Aleph
2x Vortex Dragon
OR
(without Aleph)
g0
1x Conroe
4x Ganlu (Stand)
4x Monica (Draw)
4x Thar (Critical)
4x Genjo (Heal)
g1
4x Bahr
4x Gyojo
3x Barri
3x Aermo or whatsoever (TD ex)
g2
4x Nehalem
4x Tejas
3x Berserk Dragon
g3
4x Dragonic Overlord
4x Vortex Dragon
So as you can see, the first deck is based on rush style, whereas you superior and twin drive, get more triggers and force your opponent to take damage when they are at g1 (wonder why? we get first turn, we g1, opponent then g1. our turn ride g2, superior g3, and opponent still at 1) so rush them till around 4 damage, and when they are at g2 or g3, you will get more triggers and its hard to guard D.overlord which will be keep standing to attack rearguards.
for Vortex Build it will be a stable build, just that your VG is 12k + bahr 8k = 20k, making your opponent guard more (if they have 9k or 10k VG). That's all about it for Kagerou.
Next is NG :)
Stand up, Vanguard~~~!!
